Cape Lookout Cabins & Camps, is owned and operated by Mack and Brenda Best, originally from Mt. Olive, North Carolina. However, they now consider Davis another "home". Both love fishing, and the great outdoors which they share with their 5 children and 12 grandchildren. Hard working individuals, friendly and outgoing, they have finally created the reality of a dream they have shared for years: to own the Best ferry service and provide the Best service to the public they can!
The ferry service is operated by Captain Gregory Dudley . This gentleman is from Davis and very familiar with the area. He will be happy to answer any questions you may have during your visit with us. Mack Best and Jeff Salter will be the guide for fishing and hunting on the island. Take advantage of their knowledge!
